Excerpt

Columbine Blooms June through August. The Blue Columbine is a bushy plant. It grows up to three feet tall and produces many showy flowers. The center of the flower is yellow and has five white petals, called sepals, around it. The larger petals are pale blue to dark blue and have delicate spikes pointing away from the flower’s front side. You will find this plant growing near aspen groves and rocky slopes.
